Derrick Deluties – Founder/Executive Producer
Derrick is a true Emerson College success story. A professional problem solver, Derrick knows the production business inside and out from wearing a lot of hats along the way.
His career started as a freelance audio engineer on commercial and corporate videos. From there, Derrick’s talents landed him at Cramer Productions, where he added camera work to his repertoire.
As Derrick's camera work grew, so did his reputation. In 1999, Finish Editorial, a well-known Boston post-production house, recruited Derrick to become Director of Sales & Marketing.
Derrick’s unique credentials in both production and sales helped double Finish's sales in his first year, and allowed him to launch the company’s corporate productions division.
With his dual background, it's easy to see how Derrick was uniquely positioned to start his own company in 2001. After more than a dozen years at the helm of Lunchpail, finding the best solution for a project continues to inspire him. And through all the logistics, budgets and deadlines, Derrick has the unique ability to make every client feel as excited about working with Lunchpail, as he is working with them.
Rich Barrett – Executive Producer
Rich is a graduate of Suffolk University with more than 25 years experience in the New England region producing literally hundreds of television commercials and videos for national and regional companies.
Rich's career began in advertising in 1986 with HBM/Creamer in Boston as a Production Coordinator. He moved to Whitewater Productions and became Line Producer for the Boston office, and later Head of Production for both their Boston and New York offices.
If all that wasn't enough, he has also played the entrepreneur, opening Big Light Pictures where he produced commercials, television show openings, and music videos prior to joining Lunchpail when we opened our doors in 2001.
Every job that comes through our doors has his mark on it – and with good reason. He’s seen and been through anything and everything that can happen on a project. So he can anticipate challenges and head off potential problems before they become major headaches.
All this knowledge and experience have proven critical in helping us deliver messaging on behalf of such well known brands as Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Converse, Keurig, Monster.com, Boston Beer, and Zip Car.
Mike MacKenzie – Design Director
When it comes to fantastic design and great art direction, no one does it better than Mike. But don't take our word for it. He's won numerous International Broadcast Design Associate Awards, in addition to two local Emmys.
A graduate of Mass College of Art in 1990, Mike also studied design in London under Neville Brody, Russell Mills and Ralph Steadman. He then spent ten years working for Viacom, simultaneously running the design departments of WSBK-TV in Boston and WLWC-TV in Providence.
Mike joined Viewpoint Studios (now ViewPoint Creative) in 2000 to do branding and show packaging for many major cable networks. He turned freelancer in 2003. That’s when we came in contact with his considerable talent and skill, and quickly drafted him to be an integral part of the Lunchpail team.
Sara Tremblay – Senior Editor
Sara got her start at a funky reality TV station called XY TV. There, she earned her chops cutting episodes together under pressure that might make some of our retail clients cringe.
Responsibility for turning out two of the four fresh episodes that aired weekly, rested squarely on Sara’s nimble editing capabilities and sensibilities.
Sara joined Lunchpail in 2006 as an assistant editor. Her style, skill, and speed quickly became apparent to all, and especially to clients who hold her talents in high regard.
As Senior Editor, Sara’s strength lies in her unique story-telling ability. Particularly in today’s environment, where content is king for companies, Sara’s skill at crafting a seamless and engaging narrative out of hours of footage captured on a shoot, helps set both her and Lunchpail apart from other production companies.
Lori Hornung - Production Manager
Lori brings over 15 years of film and video experience to Lunchpail. You may have heard of some of the projects she's worked on in the past: feature films such as Blown Away, Forest Gump, The Perfect Storm and the Academy Award winning Good Will Hunting.
Lori freelances as a Production Manager on feature films and in television programming as a Production Manager, Associate Producer, and Production coordinator. Some of her clients are NBC, New Line Television, 20th Century Fox, Paramount Pictures, and MGM.
Through her extensive production experience, Lori has gained the invaluable knowledge and insight into the business. Her strong organizational, customer service, and problem solving skills make her our go-to person.
